On October 28 and 29, 2025, AQS Baden-Württemberg hosted the 56th meeting of the Eurachem Proficiency Testing Working Group (PTWG). The PTWG is a working group of Eurachem (www.eurachem.org), a European organization dedicated to promoting quality assurance in analytical chemistry. Eurachem publishes freely available guides and further information on this topic and also organizes regular workshops.
The PTWG is currently organizing the 11th workshop on “Proficiency Testing in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, and Laboratory Medicine.” The workshop will take place in Alicante, Spain, in October 2026. Among other things, the 56th meeting of the Working Group dealt with the preparation of this workshop.
AQS Baden-Württemberg has been represented in this working group for more than 20 years.
