Bundled even stronger
The Central Services were established to handle tasks across departments. In addition to the Administrative Office (GST), they include the Service Laboratory of the Analytical Platform (AP) and AQS. The Central Services of ISWA provide employees across the various departments with bundled services.
The Analytical Platform (AP) is a central service of the Institute and provides modern analytical methods for internal and external projects. It supports the Institute’s interdisciplinary research, ranging from basic research to applied science in the fields of biology, technical environmental chemistry, process engineering, and engineering sciences.
The Administrative Office (GST) serves as the administrative center of the Institute, covering the areas of personnel, finance, and general institute administration. It supports the Institute particularly in project administration, financial accounting, and overarching administrative processes, thereby ensuring structured and efficient processes across all departments.
AQS Baden-Württemberg is responsible for quality assurance in chemical-analytical laboratories and primarily conducts proficiency testing in the form of interlaboratory comparison tests, particularly in the field of water analysis, as well as training courses for laboratory staff.
