Chiara, our former Ph.D. student, gave a talk on the concentration-dependent effect of surfactants in glyphosate-based herbicides on glyphosate bio-degraders. This work is part of our MICROSURF project and funded by the ERC.
Our junior group leader Dr. Katharine Thompson presented a poster on some of her work carried out and funded by the excellence initiative of the University of Tübingen, before our group moved to the University of Stuttgart. The topic of her poster was “carbon-source dependent gene expression dictates glyphosate degradation in Ochrobactum sp. strain GPr1 13”.
