The wastewater colloquium of the Institute of Sanitary Engineering, Water Quality and Waste Management at University of Stuttgart will take place on July 17, 2024. The topic of the colloquium is digitalization, climate neutrality and resource recovery as new core tasks of municipal wastewater treatment - solutions for BW.
The wastewater industry is facing a future of change and innovation. Modern technologies for the intelligent processing and evaluation of operating data will optimize processes. New legal requirements to further reduce material emissions from wastewater treatment plants and to recover valuable materials and energy will lead to structural and operational changes in our wastewater treatment plants. What solutions could be considered for wastewater management in the state of Baden-Württemberg, which has already taken on a pioneering role in some areas? Possible answers to this question will be discussed at this year's wastewater colloquium.
The event is being organized by the Research and Development Institute for Industrial and Urban Water Management and Waste Management e.V. Stuttgart (FEI) in cooperation with the Institute for Sanitary Engineering, Water Quality and Waste Management (ISWA) at the University of Stuttgart.
